Extraditions from the UK to Algeria are governed by Part 2 of the Extradition Act 2003. Algeria is designated a Part 2 territory for the purposes of the Extradition Act 2003 and must provide prima facie evidence in support of an extradition request.

The UK has a bilateral treaty with Algeria to provide mutual legal assistance in criminal matters which entered into force on 27 March 2007.
